 As is per the usual, this community has rules and standards that its members must abide by. There aren't very many, but they are of utmost importance to keeping this community alive and well on track of its purpose. .Sellers. .I. Feedback must be visible your sales post. Also, don't forget your guidelines, if you have any (i.e. your holds policy, whether or not you're a haggler, and if you're open to trade). .II. Items sold within the community must have "shout-outs" in their photos. This means a slip of paper with your username and the current date hand written on it must be present in the same photo as your item. (This does not include eBay/Etsy/eCrater listings and items sold in your personal/sales journal, but they are nice to have.) More info here. .Buyers. .I. Always ask a seller for their feedback references, though they should be automatically provided or easily found. .II. In conjunction with Sellers Rule .II., it is advised for you to request a new photo if the dated photo is questionably old. Use your best judgment and protect your investment. .III. Do not send payments as a gift! This is a good way to set yourself up for a scam. More info here. .Everyone. .∞. Keep posts in relation to the buying, selling, trading, or wanting of Sailor Moon merchandise, whether it be from the musical, live action, anime or manga. Also, though this goes without saying, be polite to your fellow members! .I. Posting is limited to once every three days, no matter if the content is different. Combine it all into one post or wait 3 days. Deleting and re-posting is no way to get around this rule! .II. Community advertisement is not allowed, as it is not related to the buying, selling, or trading of Sailor Moon merchandise. .III. Japanese idol merchandise is welcome as long as they are related to Sailor Moon in some way, such as a live-action cast member, musical cast member, anime voice actor/actress, or even the mangaka herself! .IV. It's okay to post non-SM items, but if you're posting directly to the community, SM items should be first. It's also nice if your SM items are easy to find in your personal/sales journal. .V. Bootlegged items are not welcome from off-LJ sites, such as eBay or an online store. If you are trying to get rid of bootlegs you got stuck with, make sure you clearly state that the items for sale are bootlegs. .VII. Please LJ-cut over-sized images. If it stretches the layout of the main page, it's too big. Only one image per post. Anymore must be placed under an LJ cut. If you don't know how to LJ cut, go to the FAQ. .VIII. "Shout-out" or "announcement" posts are not allowed. Please contact your respective trading partner(s) individually. Scammer warnings from LJ and eBay are Allowed, but "What do I do?" and eBay buyer/seller complaints are not. We're not an eBay help community. They have their own community for that. If you're going to post a potential scammer warning, you must contact a mod with the details before posting. We don't want to send up any unnecessary red flags. .IX. Rules are always subject to change as mods find the need. .X. Before you request membership, introduce yourself in the welcome post, and mention the phrase "Akuryo taisan!" to prove you've read the rules. Membership may be denied if you don't.  |
